The ocean at Jaco Beach is usually comfortably warm, approximately 72º Fahrenheit or 26º Celsius, and with a soft sandy beach break, instructors can stand by your side and guide you as the waves roll in.

Surf Lessons start off with some basics on the beach, and proper technique for "popping up" when you you are about to catch a wave. Once in the water, it's 2 students per instructor. Your instructor will help with proper form on the board, line you up, and when the wave is just right... you will get a nice push, and off you go!

There is nothing quite like the feeling of realizing you are riding the waves - Pura Vida! 🤙

This activity is good for all ages, with students ranging from as young as 4 years old, all the way to 85.
