Location:
Jaco Beachfront, right in the center of town. Onsite Bar, Casino and Beachfront restaurant. Only a few steps to Jaco Nightlife with Discos, Clubs, Bars, and Restaurants, as well as Shopping, Groceries, Liquor Store, Pharmacies, and more all within a short walking distance. Great location for a small group of guys heading out on a Costa Rica bachelor party weekend in Jaco and want to stay in a hotel.
Accommodations:
There are 5 types of rooms from JR Suites with a king size bed, small living room area and beachfront views, to less expensive courtyard rooms with two queen size beds. Check out the chart below for room types and rates.
For larger groups who want to be in the heart of the action, we recommend the privacy of Cielo Azul which is right across the street, or The Blue Marlin Private Party Complex which is a couple doors over, both of which offer a private pool and 8 to 10 bedrooms each. If you are looking for a 3 bedroom condo then Vista Mar Condos are your best bet as they are on the same property as the Cocal.
Party Friendly Adults Only Hotel:
The Cocal Hotel is party central. There is a very busy open air bar right in the center of the property (next to the two swimming pools) and is open to the public. There is also a small air-conditioned casino that gets very busy. There is plenty of security and everything is legit, but keep in mind that it does get loud at times.
The World Famous Cocal Pool Bar.
The Cocal Pool Bar (aka Frogs Bar) was expanded with more covered areas, and updated with new bar set up, new seating and more TVs. It starts to get busy from as early as 6pm, peaks at around 10pm, and keeps going until much later depending on the night of the week. Like most bars, Thursday, Friday and Saturday are the busiest nights.
The Cocal Casino.
There are 3 casinos in Jaco where any game of chance can be played, but the Cocal casino is by far the busiest, liveliest and most fun. If you're looking for a quiet and serious night of gambling there may be better options.
Beachfront Restaurant.
Recently remodeled and updated with new menu, this is a decent hotel restaurant with beach views. From simple snack like nachos and chicken fingers, to full meals like steak and seafood, there is plenty to choose from.
