ATV Tours: A MUST-DO Costa Rica Adventure!

The ATVs used on this tour can be operated with shifting gears, or can be driven in automatic mode. Your guides will do their best to make sure that everyone feels safe and comfortable. The landscape of this tour is diverse with steep curvy hills, and straightaways where you could drive faster.

Keep in mind, these ATV tours are designed for drivers of all levels including beginners. Driving fast or recklessly is not permitted and the tour operator reserves the right to remove any unfit drivers. If you are looking for a more advanced tour with all experienced riders, this can be arranged in advance.

A wide variety of vehicles are available for these ATV tours.

Typical ATVs, as well as quads, side by side all terrain vehicles, utility mules, dirt bikes and mini dirt bikes are available. The standard rate listed includes an ATV (and of course helmet) but for those who prefer to upgrade to larger ATVs or larger vehicles (some of which hold up to 6 passengers) we can accommodate with more options.

$100 - $130 / Person (1 Driver on ATV)
$30 / Person for each additional passenger
Price listed is for basic ATV. There is an additional charge for larger ATVs, including 4 to 6 passenger Mules, Side by Side vehicles, etc.

Location:

Starting location is 15 minutes from Jaco.
Transportation is included (Jaco, Hermosa & Los Sueños).

Start Times:

This is a PRIVATE Tour for your group only.
Schedule your start time between 8am and 1pm.
Total duration is approximate. Includes stops at scenic locations.

What to Bring:

A credit card (Visa or MasterCard Only) is required to place a damage deposit hold.
Wear running shoes (best option). Do Not wear open sandals or flip flops!
Comfortable jeans, pants, swimsuit or shorts.
A few bucks to buy a beer or soda, and tips for the guides.

Additional Info:

Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license to operate an ATV.
Your shoes and clothes will get wet and dirty!
Put your phone in a waterproof bag to keep mud, water and dirt off it.
